CLIENT OVERVIEW

The client is a global FMCG company with operations in over 25 countries. While its product range is widespread, it is most popularly known for its personal care, health, home care, and nutrition products.

THE OPPORTUNITY

For a business as big as the one in this scenario, the dataset at hand was also quite large. And due to the large volume, there was an ongoing challenge in terms of monitoring the business performance and deriving insights. Additionally, lack of monitoring a lot of times resulted in unethical practices from the distributor’s end.

OUR APPROACH

NeoQuant divided the challenge into four major parts. Along with the team, we figured out that we could solve the issue of business monitoring if we could effectively track the daily sales, SKU volumes, purchases/returns from distributors and retailers, and the discount schemes to avoid any attempt of exploitation from the distributor side.

Together, the client team and NeoQuant built a ‘Business Performance Tracker’ with all the important modules and necessary calculations to ease the entire process of tracking all the business performance details and filter out the necessary information for the management to make business decisions.
